Welcome to Drop Taxi Intercity. By booking a ride or using our website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

These Terms apply to all bookings made through:

  • Our website

  • Call or WhatsApp

  • Social media

  • Direct bookings

  • Third-party referrals

By confirming a booking, you accept our pricing, policies, and all conditions listed here.

2. Booking & Confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed only after you receive a call, WhatsApp message, or SMS from us.

  • For intercity & outstation rides, the customer must provide accurate pickup location, date, time, and vehicle type.

  • Drop Taxi Intercity reserves the right to accept or reject any booking based on availability.

3. Pricing & Kilometers Calculation

One Way Drop Taxi

  • Only one-way fare will be charged.

  • Minimum km will be calculated based on the selected vehicle.

  • Toll, parking & interstate permits (if any) are extra.

Round Trip

  • Round-trip km is calculated from garage to garage.

  • Minimum km per day applies based on vehicle type.

  • Driver bata applies for each day of travel.

KM Calculation

  • Distance is calculated using the vehicle’s odometer reading or standard digital maps (if required).

Extra Charges (If Applicable)

  • Waiting charges (for long delays)

  • Hill station charges

  • Night driver allowance (if applicable)

  • Extra km beyond minimum limit

All charges will be clearly communicated before trip completion.

4. Driver & Vehicle Allocation

  • Vehicle type and model are based on availability.

  • We try to provide the same vehicle category selected during booking.

  • Drivers are assigned based on route, distance, timings, and availability.

  • Driver details will be shared prior to pickup.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must ensure:

  • Correct pickup/drop address

  • Valid mobile number for communication

  • Proper handling of vehicle interiors

  • No prohibited items are carried (alcohol, drugs, inflammables, etc.)

  • Wearing seatbelts is mandatory

  • No misuse or damage to the vehicle

Any damage caused by the customer will be chargeable.

6. Luggage Policy

  • Standard luggage limit applies based on vehicle type.

  • Extra-large or excessive luggage may not be allowed.

  • The driver has the right to refuse items that may damage the vehicle.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Customer Cancellation

  • Cancellation before driver allotment: No cancellation fee

  • Cancellation after driver allotment: Driver bata may apply

  • Cancellation after vehicle arrival at pickup: Driver bata + minimum km may be charged

Company Cancellation

  • If Drop Taxi Intercity cancels due to unavoidable reasons (vehicle breakdown, emergency),
    we will:

    • Provide an alternate vehicle (if available), or

    • Issue full refund (if any advance was taken)

Advance payments are non-refundable on customer-side cancellation.

8. Delays & Non-availability

Drop Taxi Intercity is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Traffic

  • Weather conditions

  • Roadblocks

  • Government restrictions

  • Mechanical issues

  • Driver health emergency

However, we will always attempt to arrange an alternative solution quickly.

9. Use of Website & Content

  • Website content, logo, images, prices, and text belong to Drop Taxi Intercity.

  • Copying, modifying, or distributing without permission is strictly prohibited.

10. Liability

Drop Taxi Intercity is not liable for:

  • Loss of personal belongings

  • Delays due to external conditions

  • Incorrect information provided by the customer

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Natural disasters, accidents, or unavoidable circumstances

We ensure maximum safety, but certain risks are beyond our control.

11. Payment Terms

Accepted payment methods:

  • Cash

  • UPI

  • Bank Transfer

Billing

The customer must pay:

  • Fare amount

  • Driver bata

  • Toll, parking, state tax (if applicable)

  • Extra km or extra time charges

Payment must be completed before or immediately after trip completion.

12. Prohibited Use

Customers must NOT:

  • Use the taxi for illegal activities

  • Carry illegal substances

  • Force the driver to overspeed

  • Harass or misbehave with the driver

  • Eat/drink excessively inside the vehicle

  • Damage seats or interiors

Strict action will be taken for any misuse.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed under Indian law, and any dispute will be resolved under the jurisdiction of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
